The Middle School and HS Cheerleaders attended the National Cheerleading Association camp this summer winning several awards.  The Middle School received a Superior rating, the Herkie award, and the technical difficulty award.  They also received a trophy for overall Performance Top Team and received spirit sticks. 

The High School team was awarded Superior rating, Top team champion chant and Captain, Tenae Sanders, Mascot, Bethany Davidson, and JV Co-Captain, Maggie Lutringer received All American cheerleader.

 The group was recognized at the September board meeting by the Tom Bean ISD Board of Trustees for their energy, dedication, and pride.  Parents were also thanked for their outstanding service and support to the Tom Bean ISD.  Each group received a plaque from the Board of Trustees to display in their trophy case.
