Lindsay senior outside hitter Allison Metzler turned in her second outstanding performance of the week, this time finishing with 14 kills to lead the Lady Knight offense in a four-game win over the Saint Jo Lady Panthers. Metzler tallied 11 kills Tuesday night in Lindsay's win over Goldburg.
Saint Jo surprised Lindsay by taking game one, 25-23, however the Lady Knights reeled off three consecutive wins, 25-18, 25-12 and 25-20 to take the match.
The win gives the Lady Knights a 7-0 District 11-A record.
Jordan Fleitman dropped in a dozen kills to continue her torrid streak, as well. Fleitman slammed down 17 kills on Tuesday.
Jalyn Anderle had a team-high six blocks to go along with the freshman middle blocker's eight kills.
Katie Arendt led the Lady Knights with nine digs and Erin Copeland was close behind with eight digs.
Taylor Atkins slipped a team-high five aces through the Saint Jo offense.
Lucinda Krahl had 25 assists directing the Lindsay attack.
Lindsay (21-15, 7-0) will host Chico on Tuesday, October 19. The 9th grade begin at 5:00, followed by the JV then varsity.
