James Henry Kirkpatrick

Ivanhoe, Texas -- Funeral services for James Henry Kirkpatrick, age 67 of Ivanhoe, TX will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 3, 2011 at Ivanhoe Baptist Church. Rev. Marty Hutchings will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Bettis Cemetery. Mr. Kirkpatrick passed away on December 29, 2010 at his residence.

James Henry Kirkpatrick was born in Dumas, TX on August 12, 1943 to parents William Addison and Lois Todd Kirkpatrick. He married Liz (Long) Kirkpatrick on December 26, 1991 in Oklahoma. He was retired from Southwest Pump and Wal-Mart. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by wife Liz Kirkpatrick of the home, daughter Jaquitta Oakley and husband Steve of Ivanhoe; daughter Jamie Davis and husband Randy of Dodd City; stepson Jordon Hope of Ivanhoe; stepdaughter Shannon William and husband Jim of Madill; stepson Tim Thomason and wife Pam of Ector. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren who he loved dearly. Brother Wayne Kirkpatrick and wife Susan of Bonham; sister Judy Keen of Bonham; several nieces and nephews; and very very special friends Micky and Linda Workman.

Pallbearers will be Billy Stephens, Billy Workman, Clay Bebe, Joel Oakley, Josh Clark, and Christopher Robinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Micky Workman, Ron Nipper, and Bobby Kirkpatrick.

Family visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 1:00 P.M.
