Whitewright -- The slogan at Treasure Isle Resale Shop on Grand Street in Whitewright is "There's a treasure on every aisle!"

There were also customers on every isle February 12; customers waiting in line to purchase a signed print by Dale Adkins, best known for his illustration of the Louis L'Amour western novels and currently the most-published artist in the U.S.; customers enjoying a wine tasting courtesy of Rick Magers and Grayson Hills Winery; customers picking out unique handmade jewelry created by Laura Rothe and Martha Mangrum; and shoppers purchasing merchandise from Treasure Isle.

Providing the soundtrack comprised of soft jazz classics was Donna Henard, perched high on a platform in the rear of the shop.

This afternoon of art, wine and song was a welcome relief to North Texans who were suffering from cabin fever after being trapped indoors by icy roads and bitter cold Artic fronts.

Rick Magers (right), of Grayson Hills Winery, visits during the event.

"As the day unfolded, I was taken by the amount of patrons who came, near and far to see, hear and enjoy the event of art, wine and song," remarks Sheri Kent, owner of Treasure Isle in downtown Whitewright. "An additional date is in the future to once again enjoy all that was offered in the event you missed it this time. Hope to see you there.  And again my utmost apreciation for all who came and especially to North Texas e-News as well as KJIM1500am for getting the information to the public."
