Bonham -- It was the Farmersville Farmers coming out on top of the Bonham Warriors as pool play for the 2011 Bonham Baseball Tournament got underway.

Bonham Starting pitcher Ryan Woodruff kept the Farmers off the scoreboard for the first two innings before Farmersville erupted for four runs in the top of the third.

Levi Haggard pitched the next three innings for Bonham, giving up a solo shot over the right field fence in the fifth frame and a pair of runs in the top of the sixth.

Lane Fox pitched a scoreless seventh inning, but Farmersville put a 7-0 win in the books.
