The Bonham Warriors had their best offensive game of the season Tuesday night, but came up one run short of Van Alstyne.
Six Warrior hitters had multiple hits on the night. The charge was led by senior Shelby Williams who was 2-for-4 with 4 RBI's--the big hit of the night was a 3-run homerun that tied the score at 16 in the bottom of the 5th. Josh Samford finished the night 3-for-4 with 2 doubles. Other notable plate performances included: Ryan Woodruff (2-for-5), Lane Fox (2-for-4), Austin Ashlock (2-for-3), Hunter Herriage (2-for-2) and Koltin Kinkade (1-for-3) 2 RBI's.
The Warriors' next game is Friday night in Anna. With two district games remaining, Friday night's game has the third place playoff spot on the line.
