On Monday, May 2, 2011, the Tom Bean ISD staff received a staff appreciation banquet to honor employees and their spouses from the District.  “Thank-you for Camping Out with Us” was the theme of the banquet which was created by Marci Chapman and her class. Decorations included camouflage decorations of all the tables, centerpieces, and flowers. The Board of Trustees acknowledged the accomplishments and dedication of all the employees with a catered meal from Rhomer’s Restaurant in Muenster, Texas.

The presentations began with the celebration of staff members from five years of service up to twenty-five years of service.  Each educator was given their respective honor pins for service.  A power point presentation included each service award winner with the Theme as a focus of their commitment to the students at Tom Bean ISD.  

Other major awards were presented below.  Each award winner received their name engraved on a plaque to be displayed at their campus, and an individual plaque for themselves.

Tommy Jackson was given a clock for his 34 years of dedication to the students in Texas.
