DENISON, TEXAS -- What better way to kick off the Christmas season and jump start your holiday spirit than with a glimpse of Denison’s rich spiritual past!  The Grayson County Historical Commission along with Denison Main Street is sponsoring a tour of historic churches in Denison on December 3, 2011 from 11-3. 

St. Patrick’s, First Christian, Waples Methodist, St. Luke’s, and First Presbyterian are all participating.  The tour is free to the public and complimentary transportation is being provided from each church.

Visitors will begin at the church of their choice and then take a free bus to the next location.  Three church buses and a TAPS bus will provide a continual loop of transportation between the churches.

In addition, the buses will be stopping downtown at Heritage Park to give tour goers a chance to stop and shop or grab a drink or a bite to eat while touring.
