Mary Denison was a very precious lady that won the hearts of all who got to know her, and she will be greatly missed by many friends and family members whose lives were touched and forever changed by her love and warmth.

Mary was born on August 11, 1957 to parents Earnest and Averil Crain and she was called home February 22, 2012, after a long illness.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Victor and Dean Crain, a sister Carolyn Crain, grandson Jason Stinson, and nephew Eric Crain.

Left to cherish the memories of this special life are: husband and loving care giver, John Denison; her mother Averil Tyler Crain; her father Earnest Crain and wife Lea; son, Charles Ramsey and his wife Krystal; daughter Kimberly Culmo and her husband Allen; step-son Marshall Denison and wife Patsy; step-daughter Elizabeth Henkel and husband Gordon; sisters, Toni Granstaff and husband Mike, Gerri Crain and partner Shelley, Ramona Popplewell and husband Lee; step-brother Terry Sutton and wife Robbie;  6 grandchildren, Keeley Henry, Austin Richards, Mikayla and Berkley Henkel, Julie Lee and Jonathan Denison; great grandchildren, Gracie, Emily, Glenn, Katie and Lydia Lee, Marshall Stinson and Landon Denison; many nieces and nephews that loved her very much, Michael Wayne, Sabrina, Candida, Coramae, Andrew, and Sarah.  Many aunts, uncles, and cousins can tell you how special she was to them.

The family would like to thank Vicki Blaylock, for 12 years of loving, dedicated, competent, and appreciated help and relief to John, in the care of Mary for a few hours a week.  Also we would like to thank the Heritage Home Care nurses and doctors for their tender, professional treatment of Mary.  And to John's brother and best friend, George Denison, a special thanks for his constant support throughout Mary's illness.

Shortly after high school Mary went to work for Dresser Industries and was there for 19 years, (until the onset of her illness).  She moved up into the position of cost accountant and was a dedicated and valued employee.  She was greatly respected, and has been missed by her friends and co-workers there.

For Mary, our baby sister, we rejoice in the knowing you are in Jesus’ arms.

Being the caretaker you are, we are sure you are looking down and saying, “It’s OK you all!  I’m happy, whole, and at peace with my Lord watching over you.  Be happy and take care of each other.  Celebrate life to its fullest in a healthy, loving, peaceful way, till we all meet again.”

She is a glorious soul set free to shine in His ever-loving presence!

Pall bearers are Gordon Henkel, Lee Popplewell, Shane Harding, Austin Richards, Jeff Jones, and Terry Sutton.

Services are 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville.  Burial will follow at 2:15 p.m. at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas.  The family will receive guests at the funeral home 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 27.
