Out of all the Class 1A baseball programs in Texas, only four remain in contention for the state title.

Region 1 sends Stamford to the big show.  Dodd City represents Region 2 at the state tournament. Price Carlisle was the top team in Region 3 and Fayetteville was the last team standing in Region 4.

Price Carlisle (25-2) takes on Fayetteville (19-6) at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 6 in the first Class 1A semifinal contest, while Dodd City (27-7) will play Stamford (23-1) at Dell Diamond on June 6 at 12:00 p.m. in the second Class 1A semifinal game.

The 2012 Dodd City Hornets knocked off Archer City in the regional finals to earn the school's first trip to the UIL State Championship Baseball Tournament.

Dodd City seniors this year are Jaylen Wallace, Landon Darwin and Connor Reed.
