An all new Red River Bike Rally on August 11 will have very different look in 2012.

This year, the Red River Bike Rally will begin at Tanglewood Resort on scenic Lake Texoma.

The rally is sponsored by Sherman Kiwanis and the event will feature an variety of routes on the country roads on North Texas west of Sherman and Denison.

Safety is always the top priority at the Red River Bike Rally, so fully stocked rest stops and Port-O-Potties will be available every 10-18 miles.

All of the routes will have bike mechanics and SAG support.

The 2012 Red River Bike Rally will get underway at 7:00 a.m. Saturday, August 11.
