SE to host youth tennis camps

DURANT, Okla. - Southeastern men's tennis coach Shawn Hamil has announced that the Savage Storm tennis program will be hosting a series of four tennis camps for ages six-to-18, scheduled for July 30-31 and August 30-31 at the Southeastern Tennis Complex.

The two Youth Tennis Camps will be for ages 13-18 and will be held on July 30-31 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. as well as August 30-31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The two Junior Youth Tennis Camps are for ages 6-12 and will be July 30-31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and August 30-31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The cost of the camps is $25 per session or campers can sign up for both camps in their age category for a cost of $40 total.

The camps will work to instill and reinforce the fundamentals as well as providing an opportunity for more experienced players to work on advanced skills.

Campers will be required to bring their own racquets and sneakers for the camp.
