Anna, Texas – Renee Munselle Powell, age 56 of Anna, Texas passed away Monday, July 16, 2012 at Baylor Hospital of Plano.  She was born October 9, 1955 in Dallas Texas to John and Cora Munselle.  Renee married Randy Powell on May 23, 1975 in Gainesville Texas.  She was a homemaker.

Renee is survived by her husband Randy Powell of Anna TX; son Bryan Powell of Anna TX; daughter Shonda Renee Rupe and husband Scott of Anna TX: grandson Jarod Lee Rupe; and brother John Munselle and wife Lily of Hubbard TX.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel Van Alstyne TX.  Family will receive friends Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
