Alexus Osborn was chosen as student of the month for Finley Oates Elementary School. Alexus was nominated by her teachers and principals. Since Alexus has been at Finley Oates she has always shown kindness and respect to every person she meets. She is a smart polite young lady. Alexus is the daughter of Pam and Jimmy Osborn. She is in the third grade in Mrs. Boatright's class.
Mrs. Tracy Boatright was chosen as teacher of the month for Bonham ISD. She was nominated by her colleagues. Mrs. Boatright is currently in her 24th year of teaching. The reason she became a teacher was to help students develop into strong, independent young individuals. She is a master level teacher who always seeks out the best in every student she meets. Mrs. Boatright is married to Joseph Boatright and has one son, Dustin, a junior at BHS.
Both Alexus and Mrs. Tracy Boatright were recognized at the September school board meeting.
