The Dodd City Hornets defeated the Quinlan Ford Panthers Thursday in the first round of the Leonard Holiday Tournament by the score of 53 - 35.

Scoring for the Hornets was Landon Liebel with 19, Tyler Knight with 16, Holden Horton with 7, Hunter Brent with 4, Mason Stewart withj 3, and Rodney Coble & Lane Anderson with 2 each.
