Bonham, Texas -- Graveside funeral services for Thelbert Wayne Snead, 78, of Bonham will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 8, 2013 at Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham, with Bro. Cody Nelson officiating. Mr. Snead passed  away Monday Feb. 4 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.

Mr. Snead was born April 30, 1934 in the Oakland Community the son of John Irving & Eula Mae (Allen) Snead. Mr. Snead served in the US Army and retired from the City of Dallas Fire Department in 1988 after 28 years of service.

Mr. Snead is survived by 2 daughters- Julie Moore & Robin Terry both of Bonham, 3 grandchildren-Michael Wayne Snead, Jacob Moore, and Adam Moore, 2 brothers- John Snead & wife Tomma Jean of Bonham,  Shelton Snead and wife Ruby Lee of Arkansas, and 1 sister- Eula Dean Hutchinson of Grand Prairie, Tx.

Family visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.
