Wildflowers add an unmatched beauty to any location and provide some of the most beautiful cover in the world.  Now is the time to prepare and plant these beauties.  The Collin County Soil Water and Conservation District will be sponsoring a native spring mix sale from February – March 2013. The seeds are available in our office for you to pick up at 1404 N. McDonald Street ,Suite 100, McKinney, Texas. Come by the office or call from the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday –Friday.

The mix includes black-eyed susan, black sampson, clasping coneflower, gayfeather, huisache daisy, Indian blanket, leadplant, Mexican hat , plains coreopsis, prairie verbena, purple prairie clover , sleepy daisy, standing cypress, Tahoka daisy, white prickly poppy.

The wildflower mix has 16 varieties and will sell for $32 for one-pound bags. Please call Collin County Soil Water and Conservation District at 972-542-0081, ext. 3
