Bonham, Texas -- Graveside services for Joe Cecil Martin, age 72, of Celina formerly of Duplex Community, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Elwood Cemetery. Bro. Brian Everett will officiate the service. Mr. Martin passed away on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Baylor Medical Center in McKinney, TX.

Joe Cecil Martin was born in Sherman, TX on June 1, 1940 to Ralph and Margarite (Anderson) Martin.He served in the United States Navy, and was in law enforcement for the states of Oklahoma and Nevada. Joe was a member of the First Baptist Church in Prosper, TX.

He is survived by wife Martha Martin, children John Martin, Tammy Rank, Jerry Martin, Sharla Martin, Kelley Martin, and Dustin Martin, 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brother Raymond Martin and sister Donna Estep. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Family visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham, TX.
