Behind the pitching of Kendall Kennedy, the Bonham warriors notched the 4-2 victory over Anna to take control of their district 12-3A playoff hopes.

Kennedy went the complete game striking out 9 and only walking 2. Anna took a 1-0 lead into the 5th on an unearned run when Bonham surged ahead with 4 runs in the bottom of the 5th.  Jared Prock started the inning off with a walk, advanced to 3rd on a double by Tristan Hunt. Kennedy then helped his own cause with a sac fly that was misplayed by Anna which allowed both Hunt and Prock to score with Kennedy advancing all the way to 3rd. After a walk and hit batter with the bases loaded Greg Moses singled to score the 3rd run of the inning, and Nathan Butcher drew a bases loaded walk to bring across the 4th run of the inning.  

Offensively Bonham was led by Tristan Hunt, who doubled twice, along with Moses, who had two singles.  Prock had a double and Clay Clemons singled.

Bonham will travel to Melissa Friday.
