Ethan Blake of Dripping Springs, Texas has been named the 2013 valedictorian of Katherine Anne Porter School in Wimberley, Texas. At age 16, he is the youngest valedictorian in the history of the school. Ethan is the son of Trent and Susie Blake and the grandson of Charles and Judy Teller of Bonham, Roger and Barbara Blake of Pearland, and Benny and Joan Quattlebaum of Palacios.

In addition to being actively involved with his school's Student Achievement Committee and National Honor Society, Ethan served as the assistant administrator for the school computer systems and worked many volunteer hours with the local Lions Club. Ethan will graduate with almost 200 hours of community volunteer service.

Ethan will attend University of Texas at Austin this fall. He has been admitted to the Aerospace Engineering program. He would like to thank all of his grandparents for their love and support!
