McKinney -- The Texas heat seemed too much for the Canadian team on Thursday. Canada's pitching melted down in the second stanza and the SGV Arsenal took advantage for a seven-run inning.

The big inning gave California's SGV Arsenal a 9-5 victory over Canada as action continues in the Mickey Mantle 16u World Series at Al Alford Field in McKinney.

Dallas DBAT continued their unbeaten streak and earned a bye today.
