Pottsboro -- It was homecoming night in Pottsboro and it didn't take the Cardinals long to get the crowd on their feet as Kory Waller caught the opening kickoff and sprinted 90 yards for a touchdown.
With Dra Smith doing most of the damage, Bonham moved into scoring position and Tristen Hunt headed around left end for a seven-yard TD to tie the game, 7-7, after Jorge Solano's PAT split the uprights.
In the second quarter, Hunt got his second touchdown of the game, this time on defense, as he scooped up a Pottsboro fumble on the Cardinals' three-yard line and went in standing up.
Pottsboro closed the gap to 14-10 when Waller booted a 33-yard field goal as time ran out in the first half.
Bonham went up 21-10 when Smith hit Greg Moses in stride for a 14-yard scoring strike and the Warriors seemed to be well on their way to their third win of the year.
Pottsboro had other plans.
The Cardinals would go on to score 21 unanswered points to post a 31-21 victory.
Bonham (2-1) will look to bounce back in the win column next week when Whitesboro comes calling.
