All BISD 3rd graders receive a dictionary

Bonham ISD, October 3, 2013 -- BISD third grade students received a special gift on Thursday from the Bonham Rotary Club.  Each third grade student received a dictionary to be used at school to determine word meanings, increase vocabulary, aid in correct spelling, and much more.

The classes have been leaning about the parts of the dictionary and the many ways to utilize them as a resource for different areas of their learning. 

One of the students from Mrs. Miller’s third grade class asked her, “Can we please keep them here at school so that we can use them on our work?”

The BISD third grade teachers and students would like to thank the Rotary Club for this donation to their classes.  According to Rotary Club member Sandy Barber, the club will be donating dictionaries to every third grade class in Fannin County this month.
