The Collin County Master Gardener Association is pleased to announce that Kody Keeton Ludwig has been selected as the winner of the Collin County Master Gardeners 2014 College Scholarship.  He is the son of Brenda and Randy Ludwig.

A graduate of McKinney North High School, Kody has been active in cross country, soccer, and community service.  He ranks in the top 12% of  his class maintaining a 3.67 grade average.

Kody’s interest in the environment, clean water, and water conservation are in keeping with the Collin County Master Gardener Associations mission.  Kody has chosen to attend The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington because of the school’s outstanding environmental science program with concentrations in hydrology and sustainability.  His long-range plan is to attend law school and focus his career on hydrology and water rights.

In addition to his studies at Evergreen, Kody will play on the soccer team.
