Sherman -- On Thursday evening, September 18, the TEXOMA Council Of Governments (TCOG) presented the Fannin County 2014 Citizen of the Year award to Bonham’s own Emily Porter during their annual awards dinner held at Mabee Hall on the Austin College campus in Sherman.

She remains an active booster for various Bonham High School activities, and volunteers within her faith community at First Baptist Church in Bonham.
