Area high school senior basketball players participated this past Saturday in the Dr Al Hambrick Texomaland All Star Game at Austin College. 

Two Lady Rebels from Sam Rayburn High School, Julia Carpio and Heather Mason, played in the game for the East squad.  The East All Star team was coached by Sam Rayburn Head Coach David Guadiano. 

Led by Heather Mason’s 27 points and 15 rebounds, the East squad defeated the West 59-47.  Heather Mason was named the MVP of the game. 

On the boys side, Senior Devin Hawley of Sam Rayburn suited up for the East Team. Hawley led all scorers with 29 points as the East defeated the West 84-65.  Hawley was named the MVP of the game.
