Pottsboro, Texas -- The Fabulous Fall Homes Tour, sponsored by Georgetown Baptist Church, is the first homes tour held in the Lake Texoma/Pottsboro area in approximately ten years. The Homes Tour is scheduled for Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Four beautiful homes will be showcased in this year’s tour.
“Each home offers something different to delight our guests,” said Dianne Pratt, tour chairman. “One home is a gorgeous Mediterranean villa located high on a bluff with expansive views of Lake Texoma. There’s also a terrific rustic waterfront home situated on a private cove with boathouse and extensive outdoor living areas. We also have a sophisticated old-world style two-story home on a treed creek lot. And then, there’s the most beautiful ranch in North Texas with a 10,500 square foot authentic Georgian estate home with its own indoor pool and pool house.”
Tickets are priced at $20 in advance and $25 on the day of tour and may be purchased by calling the church at 903-786-2233. Tickets will not be sold at the homes.
The tour starts at Georgetown Baptist Church located at 207 Georgetown Road in Pottsboro. All ticketholders MUST present their tickets at the church prior to the tour in order to get their armbands and tour maps. ARMBANDS ARE REQUIRED TO ENTER THE HOMES. Guests are encouraged to arrive at the church to get their armbands and maps between 12:30 and 2:00 because the tour takes approximately three hours.
“We are so honored by our generous homeowners who have agreed to open their homes for the tour,” says Bobby Hancock, Senior Pastor of Georgetown Baptist Church. “The proceeds of the tour will benefit numerous missions and ministries and will be a true blessing to those served by them. Some of the local ministries are Lakeway Resale Barn, Visions of Sugarplums and Grayson County Homeless Shelter. All of the missions and ministries serve children and adults who have found themselves in dire need of food, guidance, love and assistance.”
