Bonham, Texas -- Graveside memorial services for Dowling Glen Bellows, better known as Glen, 57, of Bonham, Texas will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Carson Cemetery in Ector, Texas. Pastor Wayne Johnson will officiate. Glen died unexpectedly on November 3, 2014 in Bonham, Texas.

Glen was born on October 6, 1957 in Bonham, Texas to Charles Bellows and, now Julie Nelms. He was a graduate of Ector High School and went on to serve in the United States Navy.  After his honorable discharge, in 1979, from the Navy, he worked to achieve his Associates of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Glen was a respected employee of Schlumberger Oil Field Company, and attended the Church of Christ.

He left behind a loving son, Charles Bellows and wife Amanda; grandchildren, Braden, Nolan, Norah; and mother, Julie Nelms and husband Don. His father, Charles Bellows, precedes him in death.

Serving as pallbearers will be Don Nelms, Tommy Bellows, Chris Hughes, Derrick Hughes, Colt Bellows, and Bo Nelms. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Bellows, Daniel Godwin, Rick Peterson, and Ryan Nelms.

Glen’s family and friend’s visitation will be at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home, Bonham, Texas on Friday, November 7, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
