Bonham ISD is proud to announce the hire of the new athletic director and Warriors head football coach, Tony Johnson. Coach Johnson comes to Bonham from Duncanville High School, where he was Co-offensive Coordinator, Special Teams Coordinator, and Director of college recruiting. Prior to Duncanville, Johnson was the head football coach and boys athletic director at Maypearl High School, Run Game Coordinator at South Grand Prairie High School, and head football coach and assistant athletic coordinator at Wichita South High School in Wichita, Kansas.

Johnson has also proven successful in many roles at the college level, including assistant coaching positions at Texas A&M-Kingsville, Graceland University, and TCU where he was a graduate assistant.

Please help us in welcoming Coach Tony Johnson and his family to Bonham by coming to a Meet and Greet on Friday, February 13. Coach Johnson will be at the numerous home games scheduled at Bonham High School and would like to take this opportunity to meet parents and community members.
