Bonham -- The numbers alone are mind-boggling. The first thing many people notice are the towering 5'5" tires. But then there is the unmistakable sound of raw power generated by a 565 cubic-inch supercharged Hemi® engine that can turn out more than 2,000 horsepower.
Raminator, the world's fastest monster truck, will roll into Bonham Friday morning for a weekend of excitement at Bonham Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, 1522 W. Sam Rayburn Drive.
Friday, April 24 will be a great opportunity to meet the Hall Brothers Racing Team that created this world-record monster truck, get an autograph and maybe pose for a few photos with Raminator.
The Raminator crew is scheduled to be in Bonham from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Friday to visit with fans, snap a few photos and sign autographs.
Bonham Chrysler has a full day planned for Saturday, beginning with 2013 Fannin County Fair Pageant Queen Chelsea Heath singing 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Carlie Manhart-Glass will sing from noon until 1:00 p.m.
Burton Gilliam, a former Dallas firefighter/Golden Gloves boxing champion who went on to be cast in two Academy Award-winning films in a row, Paper Moon and Blazing Saddles, will be signing autographs and taking photos with the public from noon until 4:00 p.m.
Vendors include Liebel's Leaps'N Laugh bounce house, Brookshire's food vendor booth, Broken Wheel Ranch project booth, a face painting booth, and Bonham Chrysler service dept. booth.
There will be a live remote from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with KLAK and KMAD radio stations.
The exciting Raminator car-crushing event is set for 3:00 p.m.
