Bonham, Texas -- Services for Palmer Eugene Rayford, 74, of Bonham, Texas will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Bonham, Pastored by Rev. Chase Hinson, Rev. Stuart Courtney, Pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church of Bonham, officiating. Public viewing will be Friday, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Scoggins Funeral Home in Van Alstyne. Family Visitation/Wake will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Bonham, Texas. If you would like, please come and share your fondest memories about Palmer with the family from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

On the evening of August 21, 2015 at Baylor-McKinney, Palmer was escorted to heaven’s pearly gates by his devoted earthly family and released into the arms of the Lord and greeted by his family & friends on the other side. What a grand celebration of singing, eating, and dancing took place from his transition from earth to his heavenly home.

Palmer leaves to cherish his memories and legacy to his wife Audrey Rayford, son Eric Rayford (Connie), and daughter Lesa Rayford Wilkerson (Byron). Six grandchildren Shelby, Megan, Rylee, Caleb, Halee and Toree, other relatives and many friends.
