Bonham, Texas -- Graveside service with military honors for Johnny Lee Kizer, age 71, of Bonham, Texas will be at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2015 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, TX; military honors will be rendered by the United States Army Honor Guard. Mr. Kizer passed away on Monday, October 26, 2015 at TMC Bonham Hospital in Bonham, TX. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home, Bonham, Texas.

Johnny Lee Kizer was born in Lubbock, TX on March 14, 1944 to Shirley and Odessa Estelle (Stevenson) Kizer. Johnny served honorably in the United States Army, received a Bachelor’s Degree from SMU, and was a sales representative for AT&T, and he owned Ditto’s and Originals Screen Print Shop in Duncanville, TX.

 He is survived by daughter, Tracy Kirkpatrick of Duncanville, TX; son, Philip Kizer of Plano, TX; grandchildren, Madelyn Kirkpatrick and Abigail Kirkpatrick; sisters, Barbara Hooker of Waxahachie, TX and Sherry Dean of Hurst, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter, Kelly JoAnn Kizer.

No family visitation will be held however, Mr. Kizer will lie in state at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Bonham, Texas during normal business hours.
