Bonham ISD: The November students and staff of the month were recognized at the Board of Trustees meeting held on Monday, November 16. Each month, two employees are recognized from across the district for excelling in their professional area.
In November, the I.W. Evans Intermediate campus was given the opportunity to recognize one teacher and one paraprofessional for their outstanding service. As a collective campus, Special Education teacher Todd Lancaster was selected as Teacher of the Month.
The Paraprofessional of the Month is Dee Jordan, special education instructional aide.
The Students of the Month are:
Bonham High School: Maggie Hunt & Angel Aguilera
L.H. Rather Junior High: Nick Rhinehart
I.W. Evans Intermediate: Lorelei Roberts
Finley-Oates Elementary: Karissa Idell
The campus Principals recognized the students with an award and explained each of their character and work values that earned them the award. The students are selected by nomination from the classroom teachers and the staff members are selected by nomination from their peers.
Also invited to the meeting to lead the Pledge of Allegiance were 4th grade students Roberts, Kendall Brownfield, Gavin Collier, and Kylee Trompler.
Each pledge leader was presented with a certificate of appreciation for their participation.
