Two Honey Grove High School seniors win $1,000 National Beta Club Scholarships

Honey Grove, Texas — The National Beta Club announced that Brianna Cravens and Page Patrick have been named Beta Scholars which entitles them to a scholarship award of $1,000 each.  This is the third year in the history of the National Beta Club Scholarship program that at least two seniors from Honey Grove have received a $1,000 scholarship.

They competed against more than 1015 candidates nationwide for this honor.  Two hundred ten scholarship recipients were chosen.  Brianna plans to attend Hardin-Simmon – Abilene.  Page plans to attend Texas A & M University – College Station.  They were recommended for this award by the local Beta Club sponsor, Ruth Ann Jones.
