Trenton High School 2016 Honor Graduates

Trenton High School has announced the honor graduates for the Class of 2016.  The valedictorian is Corey Picou with a grade point average (GPA) of 101.01.  She is the daughter of Connie and Mike Picou.  Corey has participated in numerous extracurricular activities while in high school including sports, Honor Roll, UIL, Leadership Team and Beta Club.

Corey will attend the University of Mary Hardin Baylor this fall where she has been accepted into the Honors College. She plans to major in biology and then attend medical school.  Her career goal is to become a MD and work with Doctors without Borders.

The salutatorian this year is Kellie Connelly with a GPA of 100.01.  She is the daughter of Brad and Melanie Connelly.  Kellie has been involved in various extracurricular activities that include Beta Club, Leadership Team, Honor Rolls, and sports.  She will attend Texas A&M-Commerce and has been accepted into their Honors College.

Kellie plans to major in biology and then attend the Baylor School of Dentistry.  Her career goal is to open a practice with the specialty of orthodontics.

Also in the top ten percent are Jordan Withrow, who is ranked third with a 99.96 GPA.  Jordan is the daughter of Amy and Dean Withrow.  Ranked fourth is Braedon Hill, daughter of Shelley and Gary Hill with a GPA of 98.91. 

Graduation ceremonies will be June 3, at 7:00 p.m. in the high school gym.
