Bonham, Texas -- Francis Wallace Christensen, 94, of Bonham, Texas passed away Wednesday June 22, 2016 at her residence. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday June 27, 2016 at Wise Funeral Home in Bonham with David Renfrow officiating.

Mrs. Christensen was born on March 23, 1922 in Wesson, Mississippi to Noah S. and Lona B. Wallace. She was a graduate of Copiah Lincoln Community College in Wesson and married Gerald L. Christensen on November 18, 1944.

She attended First Baptist Church in Bonham where she shared fellowship with friends playing Bridge, Joker, and Skipbo. She was also a lifelong member of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband, eldest son Randall V. Christensen, sister Ruby Pearl Smith, and her brother Marvin Wallace. 

Survivors include her sons Gary L. Christensen of Bonham, Texas, Steven W. Christensen and wife Nita of Brentwood, Tennessee and two grandchildren, David S. Christensen, wife Adrienne and Daniel S. Christensen both from Brentwood, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be sent to the Wesson Cemetery at 1005 W 6th in Wesson, Mississippi 39191.
