SHERMAN, TEXAS—The Austin College volleyball team welcomes six newcomers along with returning players as they enter their 40th season as a varsity sport in 2016.
The ‘Roos are looking to make a big impact in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference standings after finishing with a record of 26-16 overall and 7-7 in conference play last year.
This year marks the 21st on the sideline for head coach Ed Garza, who last season surpassed 500 wins as the head coach of the ‘Roos.
Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
