Sherman -- The Sherman Bearcats jumped out to a 35-0 lead and cruised to a 42-7 over Denton Braswell in District 5-5A action Friday night.
Nathaniel Omayebu scored on runs of 12 and 22 yards to give the Bearcats a 14-0 lead in the first quarter.
Xylohn Posey, Brent Wilson and Daishawn Nelson would all go on to score short touchdown runs as Sherman built a 35-0 cushion.
Denton Braswell scored on a 95-yard kickoff return to make the score 36-7.
Posey went in fromfour yards out for the final score in a 42-7 victory for the Bearcats.
