Whitewright -- It was a perfect fall day in North Texas when historic downtown Whitewright hosted the annual Grand Street Fall Festival Saturday, October 29.

In addition to the Classic Car Show,  arts & crafts booths, and food vendors, two local wineries -- Grayson Hills Winery of Whitewright and Lenoir-Sage Vineyards in Bells -- were selling wine by the glass or bottle at the festival. Contact either winery to pick up a bottle of wine for the holidays or a special Christmas present.

Musicians rotating onto the Main Stage included Tanner Young, Emily Grace and Whitewright's own Brad Purdom.

Looking for fresh, top-quality pecans for the holidays? Hayden Peck of Windwood Farm in Bells displayed several varieties of pecans that he will have for sale in the next couple of weeks. To contact Windwood Farm, please call 903-364-5390.

Grand Street Fall Festival was also a great opportunity to grab a hamburger and a Shiner at the relatively new Grand Street Café in downtown Whitewright.

Saturday offered perfect weather for this popular annual festival.
