All animals are FREE to adopt*

WHAT: Every animal adoption is FREE at local Collin County Animal Services in an effort to clear the shelter and place every animal in a loving home for the new year.  All adoptions paid for by McKinney-based bath and body company, FarmHouse Fresh.

"Our goal is that every animal gets a home ©\ to feel the love of a forever family ©\ in this new year," says Shannon McLinden, CEO and Founder of FarmHouse Fresh, a natural and organic skincare company located in McKinney, Texas. "There are so many wonderful animals of every size, age and breed in shelters waiting for homes. Animals have the ability to transform a family with unconditional love and joy, and there is nothing quite like the gratitude of a rescued animal."

DETAIL: Adoptive families receive:
ALL adoption fees WAIVED and paid for by FarmHouse Fresh, including spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip and heartworm test.  The first 5 families to adopt a new animal on Jan. 7th will also receive a complimentary luxury dog bed, courtesy of FarmHouse Fresh.  3 adopters will receive FREE in-home dog training sessions with Mr. Pit, a Cesar-Millan trained Dog Behavior Specialist.

*Potential adopters must complete an adoption application on site.

Community groups coming together to make this a memorable afternoon include:

- Tiff¡¯s Treats will be providing complimentary warm cookies.

Davis & Rose, local acoustic hit duo, will provide live music.

 - Mr. Pit Frisco, Dog behaviorist specialist, who studied with Cesar Millan, ¡°The Dog Whisperer,¡± will be present for questions/training tips. 3 adopters will receive 1 FREE hour long, in-home training session with Mr. Pit.

- Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) will be onsite providing a shot clinic for families who want to bring their current animals for low cost vaccinations, microchips and heartworm testing/preventative measures. 

- Meet SADIE, Collin County¡¯s NEW arson detection dog, and her human partner, who will be giving demos of their impressive skills.
