Bonham, Texas -- Graveside services for June Cox, 81, of Bonham, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Dodd City Cemetery. Bro. Bill Beasley will officiate. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Bonham, Texas. Mrs. Cox passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX.

June (Henley) Cox was born on March 13, 1935 in Gonzales, TX to E.C. and Christina (Machicek) Henley. She married Bill Wayne Cox on June 12, 1954 in Dodd City, TX; he preceded her in death on March 25, 1991. June was a homemaker and seamstress and is a member of First Baptist Church Bonham, TX.

She is survived by daughters, Kay Moore and husband Jim; and Gay Howard; grandchildren, Jeremy Standlee, Adam Shrum, Chad Shrum, Christy Sacco, and Brandon Russell; great grandchildren, Kaley, Blake, Brittney, and Alex; and sister, Lois Horton. Also preceding her in death are her parents and brother in law.

Family visitation will be on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home from 6-8pm.
