Tom Bean -- Three (3) City Council seats for the City of Tom Bean will be up for voter consideration during the general election in May. Individuals interested in learning more about running can pick up candidate packets from the City Secretary at City Hall, 201 S. Britton St. starting January 18 which is the first day for filing application for place on ballot. The deadline to file for a place on the ballot is 5 p.m. on Feb. 17. 

The general election is scheduled for May 6. Early voting takes place from April 24—May 2. 

The candidate packet includes necessary forms, instructions, eligibility requirements, important dates related to the election and campaign sign rules.
