Greenville Chamber, Texas A&M University-Commerce introduce Business Training Series

Greenville --  The Department of Marketing and Business Analytics of Texas A&M University-Commerce and the Greenville Chamber of Commerce have joined together to bring a new opportunity for area businesses.  Labeled the Business Training Series, this service has been developed to assist businesses, small and large, succeed.  The premise of the series is to provide focused training on chosen topics in a single day within a 60-mile radius eliminating the expense of a multi-day conference small businesses often cannot afford.

“This is a great opportunity for business owners, leaders, and their employees to streamline their sales and marketing initiatives in an affordable way,” said Byron Taylor, Greenville Chamber President and CEO.  “With the collaborative partnership of the Chamber, the College of Marketing and Business Analytics, and our experienced speakers, we are sure to provide a venue to help economic development in Hunt County and surrounding counties.”

The focus of the first session of the series will be a Sales and Marketing Workshop.  The event will feature six speakers that specialize in the sales and marketing field and cover examples and information on how to gain a competitive edge in today’s marketplace. It will be held on February 24 from 8:00 am-3:00 pm at Wesley Methodist Church in Greenville. 

The price for the seminar is $69 for Greenville Chamber members and $79 for non-members.  Lunch will be provided.  Reservations are required.
