Overholser: January 9. Elevation below normal, water murky to muddy. Crappie, striped bass hybrids and white bass slow on jigs around docks. Blue and channel catfish slow on cut bait in the main lake. Fishing varies from day to day due to the weather. The winter storm coming in could affect the fishing later in the week. NORTHEAST
Ft. Gibson: January 9. Elevation below normal, water 38 and clear. Crappie slow on minnows and tube jigs at 25-30 ft. around docks. Paddlefish good in the river channel. Report submitted by Rick Stafford, Wagoner.
Grand: January 9. Elevation normal, water 45 and slightly stained. Crappie good on jigs and 2 1/2 inch electric blue crappie kickers around brush structure and docks. White bass fair on sassy shad and pear or firecracker GoGo minnows in coves and the river channel. Blue and channel catfish good on shad along channels and in coves. Keystone: January 10. Elevation below normal, water 40. Largemouth bass good on jerk baits in coves and creek channels. Crappie excellent on jigs at 12 ft. around brush structure and docks. NORTHWEST
Ft. Supply: January 10. Elevation below normal, water icy. White bass and crappie slow on jigs and Kastmaster lures along the dam. The fish being caught at the intake are mainly small. Report submitted by Mark Reichenberger, game warden stationed in Woodward County.
Foss: January 9. Elevation 3 1/2 ft. below normal, water low 40s. Striped bass hybrids fair on slabs at 30 ft. Walleye fair on live bait. Crappie fair on jigs around the marina. Catfish slow on stinkbait. Report submitted by Eric Puyear, B & K Bait House.
SOUTHEAST
Arbuckle: January 9. Elevation 2 ft. below normal, water 48 and clear to stained. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, jerk baits and jigs around docks, the main lake, bluff up Buckhorn Creek and rocks. Crappie slow on minnows and jigs around brush structure and docks. White bass good on spoons along creek channels and the main lake. Snow has limited the fishing this week. Blue River: January 9. Elevation normal, water 44 and clear. Trout good on caddis flies, in-line spinnerbaits, zebra midges, yellow garlic scented PowerBait woolly buggers, spoons and Frenchies along channels and deeper water around current and below riffles. Stocked about 4,000 rainbow trout on January 5. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait and punch bait along channels, rocks and deeper pools. Eufaula: January 8. Elevation below normal, water clear. Crappie good on minnows and jigs around docks and standing timber.
