Dodd City -- The Dodd City Lady Hornets are now 25-3 on the year after picking up an 81-point win over Irving Universal Academy.

The Lady Hornets led 59-7 at the half and coasted to an 89-8 victory.

Dodd City senior Lindsay Carter poured in 33 points to lead all scorers, Paige Granstaff put up 28 points, Fallon Hilliard dropped in a dozen points, Abby Weeks knocked down nine points, Olivia Hilliard had four points, Cassandra Woodlee contributed two points and Sarah Brent hit a free throw.

Dodd City will travel to Savoy on February 3.

The Lady Hornets are currently ranked No. 2 in the weekly TABC poll, behind top-ranked Nazareth (26-1).
