Jerry Dale Randolph passed away at the age of 75 on March 13, 2017, in Sherman, Texas.

Jerry was born on July 14, 1941 in a small town in Oklahoma. He traveled throughout the country as a truck driver before settling in Howe, Texas. There he ran his own business, Randolph Enterprises, for many years. He had a big heart and a passion for giving opportunities to people who society had given up on.

He was an easy-going, generous and hardworking man whose wisdom taught his family and friends… lessons of kindness and compassion. Many of those close to him will remember him saying, “If you have two dollars in your pocket, you will never be broke.” His witty remarks and sense of humor were most cherished by his wife Mary “Babydoll” Galindo, whom he loved so dearly for 27 years. Although he often admitted he drove her crazy, it was always known that he loved her more than life itself.

Jerry Randolph leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Mary Galindo; son, Dwayne Randolph and daughter-in-law Angie; son, Doug Barker and daughter-in-law Jannie; stepchildren, Sylvia and Donato Lezcano, Julian and Karen Galindo, Steven and Monica Galindo, Stephanie and James Russell, 28 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

His memory shall be carried in the hearts of us all.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Akers Cemetery in Sherman.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 16 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Scoggins Funeral Home.
