Honey Grove -- On Tuesday, April 4 from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m., an exciting program called Science Action Club (SAC) will begin at the Bertha Voyer Memorial Library. This is a 12-week program and will meet every Tuesday and go through June 20.
At this club, youth in the 4th - 8th grade will explore their local environment and use citizen science to document discoveries, share data, and design strategies to protect our planet. They will participate in hands-on games, projects, and investigations to learn more about the natural world.
This club will be led by Christian Taylor, Emma Herrington, and Debbie Bowie. We will be visiting the schools in the coming days to give more information to students who would like to be a part of this club. Also, you can contact us at the library by phone at 903-378-2206 or email bowie@honeygrove.org. This is a free program.
