Honey Grove, Texas -- Brenda Sue (Jones) Henderson, 73 of Tyler, Texas, formerly of Honey Grove, Texas passed away March 13, 2017 at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler Texas. Services will be held on Saturday, Mar. 18, 2017 at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev .Terry Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Honey Grove, Texas. Family Visitation will be one hour prior to service at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home.

Brenda Sue was born in Allens Chapel, TX on Feb. 08, 1944 to Lonnie Cleo and Effie Lee (Kay) Jones. Brenda married Billy Wilson Shepherd on Oct. 31, 1959 in Bonham, TX.  Billy preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 2001. Brenda later met and married Mr. Robert Henderson in Lindale Texas Sept. 18, 2012. Mrs. Henderson was a Sewing Manufacturer Supervisor for Many years.  Brenda was of the Baptist Faith

She is survived by her husband, Robert Henderson; son, Carlos (Skip) Shepherd; stepchildren, Monty Henderson, Angie Henderson, and Robert (Bobby) Henderson Jr.; sisters: Joyce Mills of Plano, TX, Barbara Gilbert of Paris, TX, Mozelle Hall of Rockwall, TX, Peggy Huffer of  Powderly, TX, Kathy Clepper of Tyler, TX, Shirley Villareal of Plano, TX, Faye Templeton of  Paris, TX. Neva Jones of Crowley, TX; brother, Raymond Jones of Paris, TX; grandchildren: Chelsea Shepherd, Sabrina Shepherd, Madison Shepherd, Melissa Wayght, David Wayght, Andrea Henderson, Mandy Henderson, Daniel Henderson, Michael Hall, Tiffany Hall and Brandon Woods; and great-grandchildren: Allison Marsh and Trevor Oreman.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jimmy Jones and husband Billy W. Shepherd.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Tim Edelhauser, Mickey Shepherd, Jimmy Jones, Mark Huffer, Tracey Sutton and Kelly Yoakum.
