McKinney -- The McKinney Lions rallied for two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to put away Plano West, 5-3.

It was Plano West taking a 1-0 lead in the first frame.

The Lions roared back into the lead with two runs in the bottom of the third to go up 2-1.

In this exciting nail-biter, Plano West tied the contest, 2-2, in the top of the fourth only to watch McKinney slip in front, 3-2, in the bottom half of the frame.

Plano West plated a runner in the top of the fifth to pull even at 3-3.

After a scoreless sixth stanza, and with the game on the line, McKinney came through with two runs in the bottom of the seventh to earn a tough 5-3 victory.
