Sunday, September 10 will be Northside Church of Christ's Annual Friends Day and this year's featured speaker, Delton McGuire, will tackle this subject with a very timely presentation, "Parenting in a Media-Filled World."

He and his wife, Valerie, have worked with children and families in Christian child care and education for more than 26 years. McGuire's experiences include preaching ministry, therapeutic foster care, and teaching at the collegiate level.  In graduate school he specialized in media effects, which laid the foundation for these presentations.
